A NIGHT OF PASSION BECOMES A LIFE OF PAIN.

We all have a day or days that we will never forget. Nights that bring terror in our minds, nights that give us sleepless nights.

One night, a day, or even seconds might course you regrets, anger or pain jus because you never took precautions. Necessarily not even precautions but carelessness and not caring about the outcome. Today I want to encourage someone whose been addicted to any kind of addiction.

Though today I want to talk about the most serious, deadly and far most dangerous addiction called SEX which some are very familiar with. This addiction is currently affecting our current generation leading in large numbers in our countries.

There have been cases or rape, early pregnancy, HIV/AIDS and even Sexual Transmitted Diseases so called STDs and STIs. This has affected lot's of youths. Some because of money, food, in shot luxury. SEX has become a form of greetings where anybody can shake your hand.

Today I'm here to give you a warning and also an encouragement. The Bible teaches us or rather tell us of how our bodies are the Temple of God.

1 Corinthians 6:19‭-‬20 NIV

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

The Bible states clearly, that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and so we are to Honor God with our bodies.

Have you honored God with your body? How many times have you had sex? Have you considered the repercussions?

1 Thessalonians 4:3‭ NIV

It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immortality. 

Be sanctified and avoid sexual immortality.

Now some are asking how are they're going to stop doing sex since there already addicted. Now here is one thing, that MINDSET IS WHAT YOU THINK YOU BECOME.

1 Thessalonians 4:4 NIV

that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable,

Have you tried to say no to sex? Have you? Well there is the answer. Learn to control your own body, and not just to control, but to control in a holy and honorable way.

1 Thessalonians 4:5‭-‬6‭, ‬8 NIV

not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister. The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before. Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit.

For you to resist this sexual desires or addiction, you Must Know God. No Exceptions.

Now, here's the Good News. Jesus saves, it only takes a step of faith to receive Jesus as your personal savior. You might also be a Christian and you backslided, that doesn't mean that you won't get a chance. Our God is A God of Second chances. Admit you sins and you will be delivered.

The Bible says in the book of Mark 16:16 NIV Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Just believe and you will be saved.

Any kind of addiction is slavery, that you have been bonded and the moment you want to get out things get worse. Well in Deuteronomy 5:6 NIV “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. God can cast you out of any addiction. Trust and put your faith in Him and He will restore you back.

I want you to recall how far God has brought you, maybe you have been addicted to other things and you wonder why you are still healthy, living and you haven't done anything good to please God. Recall how many people had sex on there first day and where infected with diseases. How many smoke or consume alcohol and started hallucinating or even lost there mind and became mad. What have you done to deserve that chance? As you meditate on this, ask God to forgive you and return to His righteous way. Nothing is impossible with God so long as you trust in Him.

You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows.What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways.

It's your time to make changes in your life. Don't waste another chance.
